The bridal fashion week starts with catwalk shows, from 26 to 29 April, with 21 Spanish and international firms taking to the runway featuring Rosa Clará, Pronovias, Jesús Peiró, YolanCris, Inmaculada García, Cymbeline, the Israeli Galia Lahav and the Indian-American Naeem Khan.
Following on, from 29 April to 1 May, is the show for trade professionals, with contributions from over 260 brands, of which 58% com from 17 different countries especially the United Kingdom, USA, the Netherlands and France. A total of more than 20,000 items will be exhibited between dresses, suits and accessories
Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week will also be promoting bridal fashion to the city with a number of events such as the Vogue Brides Exhibition in Plaza España and the show by young designers from the European Institute of Design (IED) at the Pignatelli Palace along with the 1950s dress by Pedro Rodríguez that will be displayed at the entrance to the show.
