Nearly all the exhibition space at the world’s leading bridal fashion trade fair, featuring over 300 brands, has already been reserved

International bridal fashion has confirmed its attendance at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week

With two months to go, Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) has already allocated 90% of its exhibition space to 300 brands, 75% of them international companies from 30 different countries. The event, which will take place from 19 to 23 April at Fira Barcelona’s Montjuïc venue, cements its place as the world’s leading event in the bridal fashion industry by bringing together the top international brands, which will showcase their 2024 collections both at the trade fair and on the catwalk.

Organised by Fira de Barcelona with support from the Catalan Ministry of Business and Labour, Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) has already allocated nearly all of its exhibition space, currently reaching over 300 confirmed brands. The international companies, which make up 75% of the exhibitors, are primarily from the United States, France, Italy, Poland and the Netherlands. These brands will showcase their collections from 21 to 23 April at the trade fair, and from 19 to 22 April on the catwalks for over 35 designers.

“In a globalised market, we’re continuing to strengthen our commitment to the international nature of a trade fair that’s already the leading event in its industry, with the goal of offering an unrivalled business platform for the bridal fashion industry, now more than ever,” says Albasarí Caro, the director of BBFW.

In terms of Spanish brands, BBFW will once again feature the most important names on the market, such as Jesús Peiró, Pronovias, Rosa Clará, YolanCris, Cortana, Novia d’Art, Isabel Sanchis, Sophie et Voilà and Marco & María. It will also again be welcoming major international brands such as Jenny Packam (United Kingdom); The Atelier (Malaysia); Modeca (The Netherlands); Savannah Miller (United Kingdom), Marylise & Rembo (Belgium); Ersa Atelier (Romania); Justin Alexander, Demetrios, Allure, Enzoani and Maggie Sottero (United States), Carlo Pignatelli, Andrea Sedici and Maison Signore (Italy), and Eva Lendel and Milla Nova (Ukraine).

In this edition, 35% of the brands will be participating for the first time, such as Otaduy (Barcelona); Ogadenia, Lucas Balboa and Pedro Palmas (Canary Islands); and the international brands Ines di Santo (Canada) Jolie Bridal (Israel), Bo&Luca (Australia), Joli Poli (Vietnam), Madeline, Jenny Yoo and Colby John (United States), and many more.

Buyers from 70 countries
With the goal of increasing business opportunities for the participating brands, the trade fair has launched its hosted buyers plan, directly inviting the top international buyers with specific investment products and high purchasing power. These buyers hail from some 70 countries, especially key markets such as Europe, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Latin America and south-east Asia.
